Bleak Midwinter? Early Spring?

As usual, in Colorado, we've got a mix of both...

How's the weather in your corner of the world? Are you struggling through the winter blues? Enjoying the blossoms of an early spring? Maybe you're on the other side of the world, savoring the golden rays of a late summer sun. My mom sent me a photo of three overstuffed vases of daffodils this week. At her house in southern Illinois, spring is just around the corner. But today in Colorado, new sleet covered the snow in our yard. Of course, this weekend it's supposed to reach 60 degrees. At least our long, long winters often give us a break.
